Story of the day:  God’s Special Place

Jeff had been asked to do a Wednesday night service at our church and if any of you know Jeff, he likes to be prepared for just about everything.  The time to speak was getting closer and closer, and still he had nothing to preach on.  One night, Jeff must have woken up around 3:00 A.M., about the same time that I usually wake up when God has placed something into my heart to share.  I hadn’t even realized he had been up, until he was already coming back to go to sleep.  I thought that perhaps he had heartburn and was getting some heartburn pills, but that wasn’t it.

He came into the room, very calm and collected, with a look about him, that I knew something amazing had just taken place, because it had happened to me just weeks before.

Jeff had been having a struggle with coming up with things to speak on and was worried about messing things up and looking like a fool because he didn’t have anything to speak on.

I knew as a child what buttons to push on my parents, and there was one that if I kept pushing would lead them to come back with a loving, yet disciplined action.  This is what happened to Jeff.  God placed this into Jeff’s heart and here is where the secret place comes from, “Jeff, If I were to let you look like a fool using/preaching my Word, what does that say about Me?”

From this point on, God also shared with Jeff “I will give You everything that You need to speak on, even if I have to wait until the last minute, I will share with you what needs to be said.”  At this point Jeff began worshipping God, and praising Him for showing Jeff exactly what needed to be said.  God took Jeff to this special place and began to share with him the things that needed to be shared with others.  God cultivated this amazing sermon through Jeff and it has truly touched the lives of others.

As Jeff came back into the room, we began to talk a little bit about what had just happened and I knew exactly what Jeff was talking about, because God had also taken me into His Special Place.

I kind of shared this with Jeff, it’s like when you plug into God, and are worshipping Him, and praising Him, the things that overflow down from Heaven for you to write about or just embrace is continually overflowing that you can’t contain everything that God has for you and your ministry. There is so much that He gives you, that you can’t write it all down, you can’t take it all in, His Love is so Amazing!  It’s like trying to catch rain in a thimble, it continues to overflow, and although you want to catch everything, there is just so much to catch.  Jeff and I were only given just a nibble of how truly Awesome He is and I can’t even imagine how it is going to be in Heaven, because just for that instance, God allowed both Jeff and I to plug into His Special Place and together we were able to look at each other and just get it.  God doesn’t say how and why He does things, He just does and if you allow God to take you into His Special Place, I am telling you, it is truly SPECIAL!  You will not worship God the same, and once you’ve plugged in, the love for your Father grows deeper and deeper, you just have to have a willing heart to trust and have faith in Him, and the blessings from above will overflow.

Quote of the day:  Ralph Waldo Emerson

“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”

Bible verse of the day:  Matthew 25:21

“His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things.  Enter into the joy of your lord.”

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

You have showed us through Your Word, Your Love, and the Gifts that You have given to us, just how much You love us.  My special prayer today is for those that don’t know You.  God, I pray that You continue to search their hearts and plant the seeds so deep into their soul that they are not able to contain all of Your fruits.  Let their fruits spring forth from a Father that is willing to take them into His Special Place and love them like they have never been loved.  Sprout in them a new song that they want to sing from every high mountain and low valley and give them a burning desire to do Your Will.  I pray that You sweep through this nation and other nations waking people up to the amazing news of our Heavenly Father.  Be with us today and as I continue to do Your will, place in me a love for others so deep that only You can give, and as I share this love, I will give You all the Glory for it.

In Jesus Name I pray,

Amen

Story of the day:  Heart’s Desire

Have you ever had a strong desire to want to do something for the Kingdom of God, but your desires might have gotten blocked by road blocks, some no not right now’s or some will sees?  Don’t get discouraged with your passion if it hasn’t come to pass.  I don’t think that God plants those desires deep within us and then just lets them sit there without an outlet.

Since we are all created in the image of God and He has a Heart’s desire for us to love Him just like He loves us, then why wouldn’t He allow us to also have a heart’s desire?  I believe that our heart’s desires are, one, to love Him just as much as He loves us, and two, so that our heart’s desire to serve Him can come to pass.  He wants to give us those things that we so desire, “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” (Luke 11:9-10)

But, remember with God, there is no timeline and He sees things that we don’t.  God has building blocks that He must lay down in order for us to move ahead, but if we choose our own route, and for the most part we try and do, then we could be in for a big fall and might not see our heart’s desires come to pass the way that they should, which is all for the Glory of God.

We were talking to some friends yesterday and the the topic of our heart’s desires came up.  Our friend said it like this, “It’s like a parent seeing the desire in their child’s heart and how passionate they are about it, and our one desire as a parent is to help them fulfill it.”  The parent wants to see their child excel in this area because they have a heart for it and if the parent can give anything to help their child out, then the parent wants nothing more than to give.

Sometimes circumstances may prevent the parent from giving to the child right away, but this doesn’t mean that the parent doesn’t want their child’s heart’s desire fulfilled, it simply means that some things need to be done before it can happen.  Just like God, the parent may see something that the child doesn’t and needs to protect them in order for their desire to be accomplished.  Maybe the child isn’t completely ready and the parent just like God needs to lay down some more stepping stones to get the child prepared.

Whatever the circumstance is, God knows your heart’s desire better than anyone else, even better than yourself.  So, don’t give up, instead continue to ask, continue to seek, and continue to knock, and as God gives to you, and as the doors open, you will find it.

Quote of the day:  Helen Keller

“When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.”

Bible verse of the day:  Luke 11:10

“For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank You so much that You have planted deep within my heart, a heart’s desire.  This desire to serve You is so great, and it comes from a Father Whose Heart’s Desire is for us to love Him the way that He loves us.  God, I thank You that You didn’t give me everything that my heart desired right away.  I am grateful to You for placing the building blocks down before my heart’s desire came to pass.  And even as You continue to lay down the blocks for my path in this life, I pray that I don’t rush ahead of You and try to lay the blocks down myself.  Instead, I continually rely on You for every aspect of my life and when You are ready to give to me, then and only then will I know that it is from You and not something that I have purposely tried to bring about. My heart’s prayer is for those that have a longing desire to work for You, I pray that they don’t become discouraged if they don’t see what they so long for happening right away, but that they continue to ask, seek, and knock.

In Jesus Name I pray,

Amen

Story of the day:  You’re Wonderful to God

Jim Adams wrote a piece on a famous composer who had captured his heart and perhaps “the soul of America and his name was Irving Berlin.  In addition to familiar favorites such as “God Bless America” and Easter Parade,” he wrote, “I’m dreaming of a White Christmas,” which still ranks as the all-time bestselling musical score.     In an interview for the San Diego Union, Don Freeman asked Berlin, “Is there any question you’ve never been asked that you would like someone to ask you?”    “Well yes, there is one,” he replied.  “What do you think of the many songs you’ve written that didn’t become hits?’  My reply would be that I still think they are wonderful.”    God, too, has an unshakable delight in what–and–whom–he has made.  He thinks each of his children is wonderful.  Whether they’re a “hit” in the eyes of others or not, he will always think they’re wonderful.”

Quote of the day:  John Henry Newman

“God has created me to do Him some definite service; He has committed some work to me which He has not committed to another.  I have my mission…Therefore I will trust Him.  Whatever, wherever I am, I can never be thrown away.”

Bible verse of the day:  1 Corinthians 12:27 “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”Prayer:Dear Heavenly Father,I can serve only one Master, let me serve You.  Whatever my gift is, whatever that You have committed just for me to do, then I pray that I do it cheerfully, lovingly, and with a pure heart.  I pray that my motives are out of the picture, and Your plan for my life is brought to the light so that You and You alone can be glorified.  I pray that the things that I do, be pleasing to You; I pray that the Words that I speak or write come from Your Amazing Heart full of Love;  and let every prayer that I pray to You be done through pure thoughts and from a humbled heart.  I thank You for this day.In Jesus Name I pray,

Amen

Story of the day:  He Calls Me Friend

It is so amazing to me that God calls me His friend.  Not only am I a child of God, I am His friend.  I take any friendship that I have very seriously.  It is one of love, laughter, discipline, and respect for the other person.  Because I am someone’s friend it is an important gift that God has brought into my life and I cherish it whole heartedly.  It is a true gift that God is my friend.  The friendship that I have with God is one of love, laughter, discipline, and total respect for Him.  It is through this friendship with God that I am able to recognize, grow closer to, and learn about Him.  It is through our friendship that I am able to plug into God’s secret place and there I am overfilled with His Amazing Grace.  There are not enough words in the English dictionary that can describe how Amazing He truly is.  Anyone can have this relationship with Him.  He calls me friend.  He can call you friend to.  It’s just a matter of wanting to be His friend.  Are you looking for miracles, or a relationship?

I was reading Knowing God Personally and here is what Joanie Yoder had to say about friendship with God, ”Most Christians would prefer to see God perform mighty miracles rather than to have fellowship with Him and learn His ways.

God made known His mighty acts to the people of Israel, but to Moses He “made known His ways.”  Exodus 33 records a great crisis in which Moses humbly prayed, “If I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way” (Exodus 33:13).  He wanted to know God and His plans for His people more than to see another mighty miracle.  No wonder the Lord conversed with him “as a man speaks to his friend” (Exodus 33:11).

Commenting on the difference between ways and acts, F.B, Meyer wrote, “Ways, or plans, are only made known to the inner circle of saints; the ordinary congregation learns only His acts.”

A talented friend of the writer, learned this difference after spending several years in a wheelchair.  One day she tearfully prayed, “Lord, I could have done so much for You, if only I could have been healthy.”  God’s response was inaudible but clear:  “Many people work for Me, but very few are willing to be My friend.”

If you desire to know God personally more than you long to see His mighty miracles, you’ll be satisfied.”

Quote of the day:  Simpson

“Knowing God is not only seeing His works but also learning His ways.”

Bible verse of the day: Exodus 33:11

“So the LORD spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend.”

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

I am so thankful that You call me Your friend.  I take friendships so very seriously.  I especially treasure the friendship that I have with You.  I pray that You continue to teach me through Your Love, Mercy, and Grace how to continually draw close to You.  My heart’s prayer is for those that are just seeking miracles from You, I pray that their heart is changed and that they too will choose the close friendship with You.  God You make Your Ways known to Your friends and I give You total praise for that!  You so desire us to be Your friend.  May we stop looking for signs and wonders and embrace You as our friend.

In Jesus Name I pray,

Amen

Story of the day:  Looking Into The Mirror of God

After I woke up this morning, I began to read my devotions and after reading mine, I thought that I would just share it with you. I am a visual person and this truly stood out to me.  I hope that you are as encouraged by it as I was.

The story was written by Charles Haddon Spurgeon and he begins by saying this, “The morning is the gate of the day, and should be well guarded with prayer.  It is one end of the thread on which the day’s actions are strung, and should be well knotted with devotion.  If we felt more the majesty of life we should be more careful of its mornings.  He who rushes from his bed to his business without worship is as foolish as though he had not put on his clothes, or washed his face, and as unwise as though he dashed into battle without arms of armor.

There’s not one of us who would enter battle without armor.  Nor would any of us go off to work or school without washing our face and checking ourselves out in the mirror.  But many of us rush into our day without taking time to look into the mirror of God’s word.

Each day holds circumstances that will be better addressed if we’ve hedged our day with prayer before we set foot out of the door.

Today, look yourself over in the spiritual mirror of God’s Word, and put on Christ as you put on your clothes.  Seize the day in prayer knowing that your prayer invited God to walk through your day with you.”

Quote of the day:  Bill Pannell

“If you’ve made a habit of communing with God when the sun is shining, you’ll find it much easier to sing in the rain.”

Bible verse of the day:  Isaiah 51:9

“Awake, awake!  Clothe yourself with strength, O arm of the Lord.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

It is not enough to say that I have just gotten dressed for my daily activities.  It isn’t enough to say that I have looked and prepared by washing myself clean if I haven’t even taken the time to look into Your Spiritual Mirror or have come to You before my day begins.  Lord, I pray that You continue to teach me the importance of always looking into Your Mirror and searching for You.  Lord, consistency is so very important, it teaches me how to be obedient to Your Word, or when You call.  I pray that whenever I hear that still, gentle voice, to be quick to listen and follow what You are saying immediately.  It is during these times that You are teaching me through faith how to draw closer to You.  I pray that I continue to lay my life down daily, pick up the cross always, and look into the Your Mirror of Your Word to give me the wisdom that I need for this day.

In Jesus Name I pray,

Amen

Story of the day:  Right Now

As I sit here listening to a song by Skillet called Rebirthing, and some of the lyrics bring to the front line of how we should be embracing our life, living for our God, living to love, living for Love, armor on, moving forward with God’s plan, I get so fired up to tell others about how great our God is.

Since we are not guaranteed tomorrow and yesterday has already come and gone, then all we have is Right Now.  Some lines in this song called Rebirthing illuminate the type of life that I want to live. The song and it’s entire lyrics can be found at the website under Music Pick of the Week, but for now, here are a few lines from this amazing song“ Rebirthing now. I wanna live for love, wanna live for you and me. Breathe for the first time now I come alive somehow.  I wanna live my life, wanna give you everything.  Breathe for the first time now I come alive somehow.  Right now.  Right now.”

Sometimes we let circumstances in our life cloud what we should be doing, and when this happens sometimes our blessing that God had intended for us to have is lost in our circumstance.   We should be drawing our life’s inspirations from hope, from what is yet to come, moving ahead onto those things which are before us, things that are right now.

Don’t become discouraged by things of your past or things that you haven’t yet done. Instead, I encourage you to look forward and not back just as Jesus did when He “steadfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem” (Luke 9:51) not looking back, but moving forward with the right now, and the “hope of what is to come.”

Quote of the day:  J.R. Miller

“”We should draw our life’s inspirations from hope; not from what is gone, but from what is yet to come.”

Bible verse of the day:  Philippians 3:13-14

“Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You that I am able to live Right Now.  Thank You that I don’t have to live in the past, but that I can press in and on with what is Right Now in my life.  You are a God of second chances and I know that I can never get this right.  I know that my goal is not to purposely hurt You, and for the times that I do hurt You, I am so sorry.  I pray that the things that I do are done with Your Spirit, because I can’t do it on my own.  I don’t want circumstances to dictate how I live my life, so when things in my life become challenging, I pray that I am able to come to You first.  Although the circumstances may not be taken away immediately, I do know, that it will come to pass just as every other thing in my life has.  I thank You for this day and I pray a special prayer for those in need, whatever their need may be.

In Jesus Name I pray,

Amen

Story of the day:  No Charge

God gave and continues to give.  He has planted giving deep within us, a part of who we are.  Now, not everyone is as willing to give, whether it be their time, resources, or any other thing, but for the most part, when we do, we can find joy in the giving.

In the December issue of the Chicago Tribune Magazine, Anne Keegan’s article “Blue Christmas” was taken from a collection of Christmas stories told by Chicago police officers.  One particular story was the story of George White.

“George lived in a rented room at the YMCA.  He had one set of clothes, shoes wrapped with rubber bands to keep the soles from flopping, and a threadbare black overcoat.  He spent his mornings napping in an old metal chair by the heater in the back of the 18th District office.

Two officers, Kitowski and Mitch, took an interest in the old man, occasionally slipping him a few bucks.  They found out that Billy the Greek over at the G & W grill gave him a hot breakfast every morning, no charge.

The two policemen and their families decided to have George as their guest for Christmas dinner.  They gave him presents, which he unwrapped carefully.

As they drove him back to the Y, George asked, “Are these presents really mine to keep?”  They assured him they were.  “Then we must stop at the G & W before I go home,”  he said.  With that, George began rewrapping his presents.

When they walked into the restaurant, Billy the Greek was there as always.  “You been good to me, Billy,” said George. “Now I can be good to you.  Merry Christmas.”  George gave all his presents away on the spot.”

Quote of the day:  Anne Keegan

“Generosity is natural when a grateful attitude prevails.”

Bible verse of the day:  Matthew 19:20-22

The young man said to Him, “All these things I have kept from my youth.  What do I still lack?”  Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven; and come, follow Me.”  But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.”

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

God, as I continue to see how much You give to me and my family, I in turn wish to do the same.  I may not have many things, but the joy that You have given to me, can be given to others through my actions.  God, You have given so very much out of love by allowing Your one and only Son to die upon a cross.  What greater gift is there?  The love that You have shown through Your Son dying is the ultimate gift.   Father, I see so much in this world of people wanting to hold on so very tightly to stuff and all this stuff that we collect can’t be taken with us when we die. So why do we keep it?  The stuff becomes so important to us that we tend to lose focus on what truly is important and that is life.  God, there is not a day that goes by that I am forever grateful for the things that You have given to me, my family and friends, and I know these blessings are so precious and that treasuring each and everyone of them is also a gift. I pray that my heart is transformed by Your heart, to do good by others and to give when You say to give.  I thank You for giving me another day to be here and to serve such an Amazing Father.

In Jesus Name I pray,

Amen

Quote of the day:  The Aroma Of Prayer

As we start to prepare our Thanksgiving Feast and all the fun, laughter, and joy that come from this day, let us also be reminded of the Aroma of Prayer.

John Piper put it so eloquently, “It is though God has a favorite food.  When we pray, he smells the aroma from the kitchen as you prepare his favorite dish.  When God hungers for some special satisfaction, he seeks out a prayer to answer.  Our prayer is the sweet aroma from the kitchen ascending up into the King’s chambers making Him hungry for the meal.  But the actual enjoyment of the meal is his own glorious work in answering our prayer.  The food of God is to answer our prayers.  The most wonderful thing about the Bible is that it reveals a God who satisfies His appetite for joy answering prayers.  He has no deficiency in himself that he needs to fill up, so He gets His satisfaction by magnifying the glory of His riches by filling up the deficiencies of people who pray.”

Prayer to God is like the aroma to our guests that comes from the kitchen on Thanksgiving day.  If we could see what God was preparing in His Heavenly Kitchen as He prepares to answer our prayers, we would probably all be praying just a little bit more.  This day, and not just on Thanksgiving day, offer up to God the Aroma of your unceasing prayer, that is sure to make Him hungry to answer the call.

Quote of the day:   Henri Nouwen

“As we are involved in unceasing thinking, so we are called to unceasing prayer.”

Bible verse of the day:  Revelation 5:8

“Each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.”

Prayer:

I thank You for this wonderful day!  I thank You for my family and friends.  My heart is especially burdened right now for those that may not have people in their lives, food to eat, or a place to be.  God, as the days start to get colder and many are without, God, if there is anything that I can do, I pray that it is brought to the light for me to do.  God, people are gifts from You and no matter what their background, what they have done, You still love them all and long for them to love You back. Help me gain wisdom in knowing what all that I can do to make a difference in the lives of those that don’t know You.  Give me words to speak, Your unconditional love to love others, and a heart willing to make sacrifices.  I pray for my family that will be heading back to Texas on Friday.  I pray that You give them safe travel and surround them with Your Angels.

In Jesus Name I pray,

Amen

Story of the day:  His Answer Is Yes!

Jeff and I have been praying about going home to Texas so that God’s plans for our ministry can be carried out.  With the church website underway and the great things for the kingdom that God has placed into our hearts, God has given us a yes to move next summer.

Jeff and I have been waiting and praying to go home, and one night as Jeff and I had woken up pretty early in the morning, Jeff specifically told me that He clearly heard God say to him, “Okay, I will move you home, just trust me.”  After months of waiting to confirm God’s yes from the Air Force, today, God provided the military results with a big YES for the program that Jeff applied for.

I get so very excited to know that our future is in God’s hands, and as He reveals the things that we will be doing for His ministry, I can’t contain all the excitement that I have to know that I serve such an amazing God.  Within the next year, God’s plan for our life and His ministry will come to pass.  Thank You God!!!  So, although prayers don’t always get answered right away, they do get answered, so don’t doubt or get down if He hasn’t given you your answer yet. Trust Him whole heartedly and continue to seek Him in prayer!!

The following story is a story about a prayer that affected generations to come.  “In Point ManFarrar tells the story of George McCluskey:

When McCluskey married and started a family, he decided to invest one hour a day in prayer, because he wanted his kids to follow Christ.  After a time, he expanded his prayers to include his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Every day between 11a.m. and noon, he prayed for the next three generations.

As the years went by, his two daughters committed their lives to Christ and married men who went into full-time ministry.  The two couples produced four girls and one boy.  Each one of the girls married a minister, and the boy became a pastor.

The first two children born to this generation were both boys.  Upon graduation from high school, the two cousins chose the same college and became roommates.  During their sophomore year, one boy decided to go into the ministry.  The other didn’t.  He undoubtedly felt some pressure to continue the family legacy, but he chose instead to pursue his interest in psychology.

He earned his doctorate and eventually wrote books for parents that became bestsellers.  He started a radio program heard on more than a thousand stations each day.  The man’s name–Jame Dobson.

Through his prayers, George McCluskey affected far more than one family.”

Quote of the day:  Phillips Brooks

“Pray the largest prayers.  You cannot think a prayer so large that God, in answering it, will not wish you had made it larger.  Pray not for crutches, but for wings!”

Bible verse of the day:  Psalm 42:8

“The LORD will command His loving-kindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me–A prayer to the God of my life.”

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

What am amazing God I serve.  Lord, prayer is so very important and as Billy Graham puts it, “Heaven is full of answers to prayers for which no one ever bothered to ask.”  My prayer for today is for people to come to You in prayer.  Not just to ask You for things, but to seek Your Will for their life.  God, life is so very short.  We are not given a time line for how long we are here in this world.  I pray that the time that I have here is used for Your Kingdom.  I am Your vessel and I hand over any selfish notions that I may have and give them over to You.  Thank You for this confirmation about moving next summer.  I pray for the next stage of preparation for the ministry that You have planned for us.

In Jesus Name I pray,

Amen

I enjoyed reading this. God brought me home to Texas almost two years ago. I grew up in Austin but moved out to West Texas…to a small town. It is where I ended up meeting my husband. We were married in July and are now in Austin. I have the Phillips Brook’s quote on my blog too. God Bless you!

Story of the day:  A Quilt

As a teacher, one thing that I love to do are the bulletin boards.  I search for vibrant colors of fabric to line the boards before putting my theme up.  Since, I am not teaching at the present, I will sometimes help out with the boards at church.  Yesterday, as I searched through my teaching materials, I came across some scraps of fabric that I had from other bulletin boards.  There wasn’t enough of one color to cover an entire board, but there were enough pieces to make what would look like a quilted bulletin board.  This is how I knew that God wanted me to write about this today. Yesterday my friend Kim, who also likes to do the bulletin boards had seen all of my scraps and confirmed what God had said about making a quilt out of a bulletin board.

I started to really think about this some more and God shared with me this last night when I got home from church.  He said, “We are all a patchwork in God’s eyes, just like a quilt.”  If you have ever seen a quilt, it is stitched together (mostly by hand using two pieces of cloth and a soft interlining), and it is done in some ornamental pattern.  Each quilt represents something unique and has a lot of meaning intertwined into it.  The person that does the stitching and piecing together of the quilt does this with such care and love.  The quilt is a representation usually of it’s maker.

As God began to bring to light the quilt, He began to show me how we are just like a quilt.  As God begins to stitch pieces of our life together, usually with such vibrant colors that represent who we are and takes pieces of our life History, good and bad, places them upon this quilt, He creates this magnificent quilt that represents our life.  I believe that when we get to Heaven we will stand before God represented in this quilt of many colors, all lined with different things, and although we may let Him down over and over again, I believe that He will look at us just like the maker of a quilt and say, “Your beauty is represented in your quilt and what I have patched together is beautiful!”

Bible verse of the day:  Psalm 73:25

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

God, You are so amazing.  Each and every day, You bring to light the things that need to be shared.  I know that I in my own strength and mind can never come up with these things.  It is You and You alone that I give all the glory to, because You alone are worthy to be praised.  I delight in the fact that everytime my flesh starts to question about what needs to written, I hear You say, “There is no need to worry about that, I will give You all the words to say because I am Your Father and what needs to be said, will be said.  I find peace in knowing that You are in total control of my every move.  My prayer is for those still seeking You, may today be the day that they heed Your call.  I pray for lost souls and for the message of salvation to be shared with all.

In Jesus Name I pray,

Amen
